Where Movement Constructs the Stage
Performance as a tool for constructing space and visual language.Scenic Anatomy explores the body as both peformer and spatial generator within a one-person-scale stage. Drawing on Rudolf Laban’s movement analysis, the structure is shaped in direct relation to the performer, creating an intimate exchange between body, space and audience.
Exposed backstage mechanics become scenographic elements, while movement shapes the structure itself, positioning the stage as a tool for performing, reading and developing a new language of dance.
