P003 → Stress-Box

An Immersive Experience of Hypersensitivity.

A research about the emotional and sensory impact of our environment.

This project translates a personal experience of hypersensitivity, using stress as a specific case study, into a spatial installation.
The “Stress Box” is an immersive environment where visitors can step inside and feel how external stimuli gradually intensify. Built from PVC connected tubes with solidified fabric walls, a mirrored floor, and a movable LED roof emitting an intense white light, the structure turns into a sensorial pressure. Mounted on wheels, it remains mobile and unstable. Combining movement, bodily perception and emotional tension, the work opens a window into an inner world and explores how sensitivity shapes people differently.
